One in three of New Zealand's working population, between the ages of 30 and 65, will be off work for at least 6 months as a result of poor health. Of these, only 5% are the result of an accident.
The good news is that most of the conditions that force people out of work are preventable, and can be improved by changing everyday behaviour.
Megan ensures that she gives her clients the personalised and specialised care that will enable them to prevent, treat and improve such conditions. Reclaim your life, and take back control.
BACKGROUND
Megan is a specialist who helps people struggling with chronic medical conditions such as severe depression, anxiety, burnout, and unexplained chronic fatigue or pain. She finds that many of these people are trapped in a vicious cycle of misunderstanding and dejection and works with them to break it.
She does more than treat her clients. She uses her vast experience and knowledge to make complicated technical elements accessible to them, giving them the answers when they are often kept in the dark so that they can work towards reclaiming their lives. She works with clients to develop a programme that moves at a pace to suit their abilities and needs. Together, they come up with a variety of techniques - some physical, others not - that allow people to regain their independence and reclaim the life they deserve.
